? ? ? I was just sitting here at the PC, examining some coins I dug today
? When I noticed, that one I had thought was a dime, because of it's size. Had no reeding on the edge.? So I grabbed the magnifying glass, and just as I started to look at it.
? ? ?I dropped it. And of course as always, it has rolled to parts unknown. And I have been down here on my hands and knees under my desk for 10 mins now. Not a pretty sight. (Least from the rear) And though I have yet to find it, I feel lucky that I dropped it. Because I discovered a mini cache of Butterscotch drops down here on the floor between my desk and the wall. And luckier still, they have the celophane wrappers still on them.
? ? ?
? ?When I locate the coin, I'll post here, what it is. And if it turns out to be worth a hoot, I'll post a picture.
? ? Well, back to the Safari.? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? HH
Sorry folks. It is a 67 roosevelt dime. Its incrusted with some black and red stuff that makes it difficult to see what it is. Their is no sign of a reeded edge. It's worn flat. Looks like it spent it's life in one of those coin changers, they use to wear around the waist. My apologys
