LS INFINIUM or White TDI for Hot Soil in VA

Hello,
Not sure if this have been asked lately. Trying to get some comparisons between the LS Infinium or the White TDI. Looking for a PI unit that would work in the hot soils of VA highlands and mountain areas. Really like that the LS can go to the beach also. Everything i read about the TDI says it rocks for depth but have a larger learning curve. Also read some bad post about the older LS problems. Thanks for any input. :icon_thumright:

I hunt a lot in the HOT soil here in Virginia and most of the folks I know use the TDI. Hope this helps!!!

I had an Infinium and it rocked on highly mineralized soil in SE Oklahoma. Of course it had all the shielding that comes standard on all the later Infiniums. Plus it will go deeper than you will ever want to carry it diving.

Both are light years better than VLF machines in Northern Virginia....however, between the two, the TDI is better and easier to use. This is almost the consensus from everyone who's used both including myself :icon_thumleft:
