Long time no post, even longer time no detecting.... Hopefully I'm back again! :)

My buddy Keith hooked me up with a spot that he had killed recently. I was hoping to get into the water with the excalibur, but I couldn't do a whole lot because in most spots I sunk pretty quickly. The water was also pretty littered with cans so I couldn't swing anywhere without a loud booming signal.

So I decided to hit the same area that Keith, Austin, and Tom had already hit prior. I figured that I might be able to pull out some tiny gold that the other machines might ignore. I got lucky and my hunch proved correct.

I got two TINY gold rings. One is a 10k yellow gold with a green stone in it. The other is an 18k white gold band.

I also got a wheat penny, lots of fishing lures and weights, and a junk metal cross.

Also a big thanks to Tom, the property owner for letting me park at his place. Very nice guy.

The spot where they were found is no longer a beach. My friend found it and almost all of the finds that they have found there have been from the 1940s and 1950s. Lots of old silver, class rings, and other misc from that time period.

Nice job brian! WB

Welcome back too and boy what a comeback...

Excellent finds Brian!
Nice way to "ring in" the water hunting season. ;D

Brian,
Nice going!
Congrats!
The green stone looks like emerald to me.
But if it is peridot....it's a good sized stone! It's my understanding that they're pretty pricey when they get to be a carat or over!
HH

Thanks for the potential ID on the stone with Peridot.

I assumed that it wasn't an emerald just because the green didn't appear dark enough. Of course, I know nothing about stones. Maybe one day when I'm board I will take it to a jeweler just out of curiosity sake.

nice to see ya here again.........

Congrats on your 2 Golds!!

Welcome back!
