Low life, good for nothin'.....

Went to church this morning, only to find out we had been broken into... all our P.A speakers, mixer board, a Fender bass guitar and amp and various other items were stolen. I mean wow, I know times are hard for people, but stealing from a church?? That's a real low for anyone. the deputies were there dusting for prints, when a witness that lives behind the church came by and gave a VERY good description of a vehicle that was seen there last night. It's possible they already know who it was. hope they catch the creep soon.

Gotta admit, that is pretty low to steal from a church, especially when if you're that bad off, all you'd have to do is go ask, and most likely the church would give you something to help you along.

My church had the same thing happen to them late in 09 or begining of 10' . No guitars taken though guys take them home with them. But alot of other stuff like yours. And yes pastor would have given any help they needed all they needed to do was ask ! I figure they knew exactly what they wanted ... people said they did not tear anything up an did not take just anything just certain things they knew what they were after. Figure they had came to church once or twice to look at equipment. We are in a park so everyone on Sunday am hears the band rockin out!

When I was young, the churches never locked their doors, just in case someone needed to come there at some odd hour to talk to God. Those times are gone, I guess. Hope they catch the thiefs and get the stuff back and they get some jail time. I can't bring myself to say I hope it turns their lives around. I will leave that hope to a better Christian than I.

Odds are it was a member of the congregation, most people don't break into places without an idea of whats there.

time for a old fashioned "prayer section" in which the preps end up begging "dear god please stop the beatiing".--- sometime bad folks need to have their "VISION ADJUSTED" so they can see the error of their ways so they can then "SEE THE LIGHT" and follow the correct path --spare the rod and spoil the idiot.

Try leaving your life savings,gun collection, or your youngest child in a church overnight...and see how well you sleep! To the youth of today (..and it will be youth's) nowhere is sacred!
