Love token bracelet

Today my neighbor whos in her 80s knocked on my door and had a gift for me in an envelope. Before I opened it she said she found it 40 years ago in a parking lot on a road trip. She came across it recently and thought I would like to have it. She knows i metal detect but I had no idea what I was about to receive.


I opened the envelope and inside was this bracelet. The charms are silver dimes turned into love tokens. There is a H over M on several of them including the skeletonized one. The names Robert and Annie. Westfield, PA. Initial F.D. and the dates 1884 and 1885 as well as just 85 on two of the charms.

One of the charms is a canadian dime obviously and has the Robert on the reverse. Most of these charms have reeded edges leading me to believe they are all silver dimes.

Im over the moon at such a generous and thoughtful gift and I wanted to share it with you guys.

My guess is WHP and FD are the parents initials and Annie and Robert are their children, born in 1884 and 1885. Awesome gift and with lots of research, solvable...Sub
