Hello everyone. I am a new member here and wanted to introduce myself. Im from central Louisiana and picked up the hobby of metal detecting about 7 months ago. I use the Ave 350. I been hunting alot of old homesteads, church lots, train depots and things like that from the late 1800's. Found a few things but nothing extraordinary. Anywho, if any of you guys are from around the same area and would like to get to get together to make some hunts let me know. A little north of me around marksville and that area i know there were alot of activity from the civil war. Battle fields and camps. Maybe we could oneday get hooked up with a few places and we can dig! And if anyone of you have good spots to go and want a extra hand let me know. i dont mind driving a ways to dig up some history! Hope to hear back from some of you and Life's like a garden. Dig it! haha
