Louis Vuitton vintage alligar Leather trunk

I’ve been having this LV trunk for over 10 years and from what I was told this is a rare special addition crocodile track that was introduced in the early 1800s but I want to know if anybody has any type of knowledge in this field and see if what I was told was truth FA859C0E-D67C-49CE-8B5A-89C8D5AE9444.jpeg

Sadly, not what you have been told. It's faux alligator, with a mechanically stamped pattern. Extremely similar to this one, said to be from the 1940s or 1950s, which has the same logo on the latches:

It's almost certainly from the same maker because if you compare the stamped patterns, they're identical in places. You need to make allowances for the pictures being taken with different perspectives but, if you take the the two 'V' shaped parts marked in red on the crop from your picture as points of reference, you can see that they're the same:
