Lots of farming tools...spades, hoes....don't know the names for all of them.

Twenty-plus years ago, the letter from the MO Archeology folks read...."no permanent settlements" ... rather, the farm we purchased was thought to be a part of a seasonal hunting area.
It appears to me that the folks who hung around here were making plenty tools to engage the earth. Me thinks we had some farming going on. Perhaps some folks lived here year-round...? Interesting tools.

I see some that might be worked. Maybe separate them so we can see it better. Could of been a quarry site where they would check the quality of the stones and discard what they didn’t want and take the good pieces back home. But being piled up like that it would just be a guess

Just rocks. The wrong kind of rocks at that. Sorry... Of course that is just my opinion.

Need individual pictures to see better, everything I see in only picture appears to be just rocks.

I'm just seeing rocks. Most of the hoe blades I've seen or found show clear evidence of some flaking, they weren't just rocks they picked up. Still, keep your eyes open in that spot.

i posted in some artifact facebook page about learning by pictures and getting out to shows to learn about real artifacts, honestly bringing home every maybe, could be, better check the internet, you're going to end up with a pile of rocks.
