My third trip out, worked the tot-lot, volleyball court, beach and part of the campground before my batteries died. Came to a few conclusions... First, pop-tops should be made of gold. That way people would be less likely to throw them on the ground, and when they do, we at least get a good find :BangHead: Second, finding trash makes me sad - not just because it isn't a coin or something, but because it makes me sad to see how little so many people care...

Ok, enough of the downer stuff.
$1 in quarters, $0.90 dimes, $0.10 nickles, $0.31 clad pennies and 8 95% copper pennies. Plus a SWEET toy airplane, a valve stem cap, clad letter "D" jewelry, part of an "Al Foss" fishing lure (working on more info), a very odd penny ( not sure it is clad or copper) and some kind of buckle thing (plus all the pull tabs and trash).

Now to get some fresh batteries and finish the campground!

Nice finds! Congrats!

I agree, it annoys me when people throw pulltabs on the ground, especially stay on pulltabs.
