First welcome to the forum . Secondly , let me tell you that nobody knows about wrecks that have not been discoverd? yet . That is logic is'nt it ? You just can't go out to do some diving . It takes research ( and sometimes many years ) to find a spot you like to dive on .Let me give you some advice and start your research by using your? ,, Google ,, searchmachine and ask the question? .. ship wrecks in North Carolina ,, . You may be surprised? ?. Happy hunting . Cornelius

Cornelius: I have done that "searchmachine and ask the question .. ship wrecks in North Carolina " and that's how I happened onto this site. I was talking mostly about stories of wrecks that haven't been found yet. As far as "You just can't go out to do some diving." Have you ever heard of beginners luck? That's how most things are found, somebody just happens to come across something. Thanks for the advice that I allready know.

We run a dive shop in Wanchese, ghostfleetdivecharters.com, beginners luck is a little foolhardy ,however there are plenty of wrecks off carolina, we dive most every day, if you have funds enough I'm sure that Captain will take you to new site, however you better be atleast a Dive master for expeince, and not in some lake, vis here can change in moments , especially near the beach, I have 100 dives out here in the Atlantic in NC ,its a big boys game, and we don't play alone, I hope you have fun here, and be smart, a little research would be helpful , a lot would prove to be better.I have done some, the Cap't has all the drag # for his fishing nets, so he'sa valuable kinda guy . It would prove prudent to get an expereince under your weight belt in this area first , I will be glad to show you some of the ropes Dave in NC
