Lord Nelson £5 Coin...help!

I've recently come to aquire a £5 coin commemorating Lord Nelson's 200 year anniversary. I am puzzled as I do not know if the coin is a standard one or the silver proof version. Does anyone know how I can tell? Thanks

If it were U.S. that would be a proof strike (due to the mirror surface on the flat background). No idea for Britian.
