Then again it kinda doesnt look like one, the tubes too small and also it shouldnt be round right? hmm try lighting it and see what the "resination" smells like

Yeppers, I believe that's what it is indeed. I have one in my collection of junk. I made sure all the residue was scrapped out with my pocket knife before I threw it into my junk can! I'm allergic to pot and can smell it a mile away. Every time I get a whiff of it my sinuses start running like a faucet! It came in handy in LE work. Never needed a pot sniffing dog when I was around! JIM aka KS

Strange looking pipe if you ask me :P Maybe someone used tubing as an improvised mouthpice or something. A mile away There has got to be someone lightin up within a mile of you now

Looks like the top off of an atomizer type perfume bottle...minus the squeeze ball.....or a bong?....JO

The hole is less than 1/16 across, less than 1/8 deep. Seems like it is just too small for a pot pipe. Would have a hard time even getting the pot in the hole.

Jopher, that was my first thought, being found with the glass shards. But, no way for this piece to screw onto the bottle, where the grooves would be it is flat; plus the less than 1/16 hole would be to large.

Hey just keep that thing away from my proctoligist will ya Sherm.

Actually Jopher got it right. The upper part is where the bulb went and the other part is where it went into the bottle is just a compression fit.

Sounds good to me. After the bulb thing came up I took a closer look. Took a pin and was able to find a very small hole opposite where the bulb would go on(it was full of dirt or something). That's what it is.

Looks like a gas line & fitting to me of some sort. Like a valve to a mini bike or the like. Could also be part of a bong as some have suggested! Looks like a part of the ones we used to practice with ("long ago")

Bicycle Valve

What you've got is a bicycle valve. The plastic was once flexible, covering a hole to let the air into the tube but not out. Very nice old model.

Okay guys, see a clogged pipe and immediately it takes you back to those days!! Maybe those days ain't over. Too small for that, unless it was for your GI Joe. I'll go with the perfume top also. Hey, isn't THC the active ingredient in that funny stuff. I grew up in the '70's. Must be awful to be allergic.
