I found this today in a schoolyard. It is just about the same size as a quarter but a little heavier. Looks like I made out some type of name Waterbury? Thanks for looking and maybe someone could figure it out for me.

It appears to be a flattened button, with the shank now missing, made by the Waterbury Button Co. Here are a couple of similar buttons, listed by Waterbury as a "lined livery button" (left) and a "lined fashion button with rim."

I thought about a button but when I looked at the back...kinda thru me a curve...Thanks my friend..I think you are right.

There's a Waterbury, CT...I believe they made buttons there...it looks like it might say CONN after Waterbury
