I have found a ton of those type of objects too..

at first I thought they were lead but they are a denser metal. I think that mine are maybe melted metal from a fire or from farm machinery repair like torch work...

Maybe someone has an answer. I'll be interest to see the theories too
 

looks kinda like a beer/soda can that was thrown in a fire pit and melted. how heavy is it?

Denser than lead? There aren't too many things denser than lead are there?

A better term for left over metal waste that has been heated is "slag".

Yep, good old fashioned slag.
 

They are not magnetic. It is denser than lead at least harder than lead but it looks like silver when I cleaned the bottom. As far as weight it is heavy for it's size.

Thats why I said Lead-alloy.
