no, it's not going to be able to tell metals apart, nor "see" the target, blah blah. Only will show conductivity . Of which various metals share the same conductivity on a size-per-size basis. Anything hinting to the contrary, is just consumer mis-understanding of advertiser "hype".

Kind of reminds me of the Whites late night tv commercials: "tells you what's in the ground before you dig". Yeah, right.
