It?s 9mm dia. Non magnetic green 15D18614-7751-4E4D-807D-341D9BA70A12.webp/blue color flat bottom and slightly protruding top is flat as well. Rings around but also very uniform verticals. Like I said like a slug but can?t find anything that looks like it or to date.
 

back in the day they were called wad-cutters...practice ammunition at the firing ranges..

Timbercrack got it.Wadcutter,most likely .38 Special.Used in target shooting because it cuts very nice round holes in the paper.Cheap too,I,ve cast and hand loaded a few thousand.

Harumph. I still shoot .38 Special wad-cutters. Great for rabbits.

You kids and your hemi-auto plastic pistols.

And not the worse choice for self defense - especially if you live in an apartment with thin gypsum board walls.

I still shoot them too.S&W K38,6"it,ll get a squirrel too!Not a fan of any auto but the old 1911.I have a Lyman mold with which I,ve cast literally thousands,load over 3.5 grains of bullseye and go to town.
