✅ SOLVED Looks like a thimble?

Hey again everybody, I dug this near the area I found brass scrap. It appears to be brass as well yet I don’t know what it is. Kind’ve looks like an acorn or a really odd thimble. It is definitely metal, and I would appreciate any help

Kinda looks like the top portion of an ox knob, I’m sure others will have a better guess.

I think you might be right. How big were these typically? The one I have is small, it can barely fit on the tip of my pinky. Maybe I have big fingers..

Not sure on the size, I have never found one myself but they seem to come in all shapes and sizes.
