Looks like a UMC Co. (Union Metallic Cartridge Company) New Club No. 12. Approx 1867-1911 (They merged with Remington in 1911 and the headstamp changed to REM-UMC)

If I recall correctly, the UMC "New Club" shotgun shells were first produced in the 1890s. So, combining that info with Gpsnoopy's info on the Union Metallic Cartridge Company, your "UMC New Club" shotgun shell base dates from the 1890s to 1911.

1891-1910 was the date range for the New Club. It is a great, classic line to find!

In case anyone doesn't know, "Turtlefoot 13" is compiling a database of shotgun shell brass. . . for the past several years, I've been sending him the brass I've found.
