LOOKS LIKE A JEWS HARP...NOT

OK HERE'S ONE FOR YA I WENT TO APPOMATTOX, VA. ON 500 ACERS OF PRIVATE LAND IT IS A FARMLAND THE HOUSE WA BUILT IN 1750S AND IS STILL DEEDED WITH THE SAME FAMILY, THE CONFEDERATE TROOPS WHERE CAMPED ON SOME OF THE LAND THERE.
TWO THINGS I FOUND THAT I CAN NOT I.D.
THE FIRST LOOKS ALMOST LIKE A JEWS HARP. THE SECOND PIC LOOKS LIKE A GRAPESHOT FOUND ABOUT 4 INCHES IN THE GROUND BUT I DONT THINK IT IS THE WIRE IN IT

I wouldn't be surprised at all if that was a jews harp. They were very popular back in that era. As for the other I don't know. Monty

the bottom item looks like an old gear stick knob....the first like a handle/sling like attachment thingymabobber.....

Here's a pic of a Jew's Harp...don't think that is what you have....I agree with one poster, more likely a handle to something...but what? Don't know, as of yet.

The other pic looks to me to be a nail badly corroded. Only based on the nails I have dug up from my yard, with one exception...the head was never as round as what you show...but that is only what I see, not saying that is what you have found. Sorry :(

The top pic almost looks like the handle to shearing scissors.
The 2nd might be a version of bar shot. Chain and bar was, if not mistaken, used to damage or cut a ship's mast.
