Thanks for any help. This is my first one with a hollow bottom. If it is or isn’t I’m very happy. Found it in New Orleans. IMG_1270.JPGIMG_1271.JPGIMG_1282.JPGIMG_1283.JPG

Thanks again

Relic nut it blew me away. Totally unexpected It was all dirt looking so I didn’t see anything until the pin pointer hit it. When I wiped it on my jeans I was ecstatic when I realized the bottom was hollow I liked to died. How old do you think it is? Could it be Civil War?

Found it at City Park very old park in New Orleans. Gonna have to do some research to see if there was a camp there or not. Thanks for the info relic. I just love this bullet either way.

Truth1253, Congrat's on your first CW minnie ball. May this be one of many to come your way. Carefully inspect the inside diameter of the bullet to see if it may have a number stamped, or an item such as a star. Some bullets were stamped and are quite rare. You could trace where the bullet may have been manufactured. Best of luck a n d continued success to you.

Great find Truth! I just found my second mine ball today and was just as excited as the first. It's amazing to think you are the first person to handle that bullet since the civil war. Congrats and I hope you find many more.HH
