Looking to get a new detector what should i get.

Out of all the detectors i had the Explorer SE pro was the best and my favorite. It found stuff my other detectors left behind. During the summer i went and sold it what a mistake. Now I'm looking to get another Explorer SE pro, but I'm thinking if its worth spending a little more and getting the Etrac. I noticed the etrac most ferrous falls on 12. I would like to see how the would perform side by side.

I just bought a E-Trac and this machine looks like fun. Havent found anything good yet but I am working on learning the machine.
Just dont have the time needed to really get aquainted with it the way I would like, but in due time I suppose.
Anyway, you will like it Im sure and wont look back.

I have been doing some research on the E trac i think i might go for it. A dealer online gave me an offer that is too good to refuse. If i decide its not for me i won't loose too much.

I think an etrac is an excellent choice. I need only to save a while and then I will be giving Mike (4H) the call. My buddy bought an etrac from him, and couldn't be happier. He is the go to dealer in my opinion and I hope to be giving him my business soon.

The E-trac is a different machine that your Explorer SE.
True it looks much the same, sounds much the same, but it has been reprogrammed to operate differently.

For one the Ferrous you mentioned has a much straighter line on the display so almost all American coins will fall around FE of 12.
Much easier to separate them by Conductivity tone and see them on the display.
The better you understood the Explorer SE and how it operated, the longer it will take you to gain that same level of knowledge with an E-Trac.
But dont let that scare you off ... you will do great with it and wont be disappointed one bit.
