Looking for Your Ideas on a X-Terra Elite Expedition Pack Giveaway

So I was just going through MD4V.org business with our Treasurer Catherine, and she asked me what we are going to do with the new machines that were donated, but may be too advanced for a green beginner. We decided to give the Expedition Pack away but I need an idea that will help me raise donations and awareness.

An idea,
if you have Facebook or something and a business.
Run a quiz with opt in emails.
Everyone who answers 5 to 10 questions, right or wrong, is entered into a chance to win.
They also agree to opt in emails where later you can send marketing info.

Easypromos has a setup for stuff like this.

I recently picked up an X-Terra Expedition pack, great package. If you're looking to promote awareness of your organization and raise some $, how about either raffle to win the pack, or an auction?

You might wind up with more donations if you raffle, as everyone would be able to afford a "ticket", maybe at $5 or so. With an auction, once you reach the retail price of what a person can buy the pack for, you might hit a ceiling, unless someone wants to donate more.

But with a raffle, if you sold 1,000 tickets at $5.00, you'd raise $5,000. If you keep the raffle ticket price reasonable, you'd attract more people who can afford a ticket. Those who can afford more can simply buy more tickets to get more chances to win. IMHO, with a raffle, you'd have an unlimited ceiling of potential donations.

I had it with a limit on the ones I’ve hosted. It’s not hard to fill one at 5-10$ tickets. As long as you keep the odds as good as you can. I would go with as little spots as you can.
