That is neat!!!Cant say I have ever seen one on here!!Or any where for that matter.I am sure its gotta be worth a pretty penny

As a personal opinion, I would leave the helmet in its as-is-condition...

It's like someone refinishing an antique chair to where the wood looks new...its now a new chair and has lost its patina and character.

By the way, I've seen similar helmets in ship's chanderlies and museums...nice historic item

Thanks IronSpike,Yea wouldn't want to be underwater with this thing on my head knowing it was up to the guy top side to keep me breathing.I think the helment it self would be freaky enough. :laughing7:

Thanks stefen,Yea it's in a better place then it was and I've got time to learn what is the best approach on it so leaving as is sounds good to me for now! :thumbsup:
