OMNI has a post on here with pics of a power jet he made, I can't remember if it is a 4 or 6 inch.

My 4" jet was made at a local shop, had to bore out the orifice of the steel washers inside each log to 5/8th's inch

OMG laughed so hard almost peed....A righteous real GOLD DIVERS IS in the gold prospecting forum here under Craigslist dredge for sale ,a steal at any price and parts for a dredge also at $200....move fast or it'll disappear like smoke-John

I tried to buy that one in Fresno. He wouldn't ship it. Then he told me he shipped it to someone in NY. Go9ne.

Hi Reed lukens, first of all thank you for answering. any suggestion for the venturi. Can I just use the metal with small hole like 1/4 inch since my supply in one inch? Or what about those sprayer nozzle tip?

It depends on the pump pressure and how big your dredge is. You can buy the jets alone also or use pipe with a washer welded in for that size. Start at 1/2" and if you need smaller, you can drop in another in over it.

My pump is 1" and I got 1-1/2 suction hose. I'm only starting this small because no one had tried dredging in my place and keeping cost as small as possible. I'm from one of the provinces in Camarines sur(Bicol), Phillippnes. This project though small would be revolutionary. I'm excited to dredge!

I cannot find the right jet to use, maybe because I don't know which one. I'll try the washer. Thank you, Sir.

Honestly, anything smaller then a 4" is a waste of time. You can slowly shovel into a sluice and run 10 times more material then a 1-1/2" dredge will pick up. A 1.5" is used strictly to clean small bedrock cracks.

I built a copy of a dahlke tri-jet, and it has been amazing. Way more efficient when compared to a standard keene or proline single eductor jet. I can run my 4 inch on a 4 hp motor with a keene p104 pump which i believe is about 200 gpm, and it has near equal suction at 3/4 throttle to my normal 4 inch. Also even though it isnt an oversized jet it clogs substantially less when compared to other non-oversized jets, due to the centering of flow through the jet.

It was a fairly easy build, and i have the dimensions for it running around here somewhere if anyone is interested. Im currently working on a 5 inch version. I know circle jets are even more efficient but they are beyond my current tool set to be able to build.
