I was looking to purchase a Garrett ace 300 detector. I’m on a tight budget, just like everyone during this time, and would like to know if this is a good detector? What is everyone’s thoughts on this?

I own an AT Gold I really like, but I suggest you check with Garrett because they have a new detector coming out next month the APEX. Newer technology is always going to be better, lighter, etc.

For that price range I would go with the simplex. I love mine
