Looking for more info on this token

[HMS Beagle]

This was given to me by the caretaker and I was told they were pressed for some 50th year celebration. I can find no other info, such as who may have made it or any other info on the 50th yr party/celebration.
This was for the Hotel Lafayette in Buffalo NY.
