Bringing this over from the Today's Finds forum to see if I can get a few more eyes on this. Got a new permission at a 1900 home site that was very disappointing. The only notable find other than a few wheats and a hem weight was a Grover Cleveland presidential token. This one is not aluminum, nor does it have a sponsor name like "SHELL" on it. Looks to be made of brass. I have no idea when, or who made these so any info would be appreciated.

Thanks, J. Similar, but not the same. You will notice that unlike the token photo on the website, the dates of his presidential terms are on the perimeter ring of this token, not around his head. As the site points out if you click the additional link, there were "oodles" of these things produced, so I may never actually find out who manufactured this one.

Search Google by using theses key words: treasurenet, presidential token, bigcypresshunter and you should be able to pull up some of my old posts that may help identify it. There were several different presidential sets, in the 50s I think, with some differences and I cant remember each one.. Some of them were given out at gas stations with a fill up.
