I have a couple of items that have me puzzled, the first one is this ball thing, it’s non magnetic the hole isn’t bored dead center so that makes me think it is not something new, I dug from a 1920’s property. The second item is this toy soldier. He looks like he is supposed to be a Civil War soldier, there are no markings or logos on him any where and as you can see (hopefully) he appears to have a seam from the mold on his back. Any help is appreciated!!

The round item reminds me of an ox knob, but normally they are threaded and have a set screw hole in the side....the soldier is probably a WWI doughboy

This place near water? I'm thinking an OLD cast net or trot line weight. Can't help on the armed guy, but he looks determined.

Could be a deformed ferrule for a metal tubing fitting.
