Looking for help ID'ing the maker of this bronze sculpture.

Hi I have this bronze sculpture about 7" x 6" and I first thought it was Malcolm Moran, but the signature plaque is not the same. If someone could help me ID who the sculptor is it would be greatly appreciated. I've inserted 2 photos of the signature, one with lighting and one without if that helps. Thanks.

What does the sculpture represent? Is he fishing?

Yeah the boy is fishing next to his dog.

It is very similar to Malcolm Moran's "Huck Finn" sculptures. But as you say, the signature is different.
