Looking For Date Range On Military Button

I found this button in a patch of woods in Luxembourg.
It is made of copper.
I believe to have identified it to be a French button from the Napoleonic wars but could be wrong.
Any conformation or info on exact date range would be much appreciated.
Thank You.

Based on the size and the one-piece cast design, probably a cuff button... I'm thinking late-18th to early 19thc in date.
I found similar examples to yours online, but they were mostly identified as Italian.

"On Italian guard buttons of the Grand Army Napoleon War 1812 the eagle looks to the right. On buttons of the French Guard and others the eagle looks to the left.
On the eagle's breast is a crown of Lombardy and usually was shown five-pointed star, but sometimes there are buttons with the image of the letter "N".
