I'm new to the hobby and bought my first detector back in Oct. After much research I decided to go with the ACE, I was going to buy a 250 but found a sweet deal on the 350 with the DD coil and the smaller DD coil, I've used it a total of about 20 hours , The first time out I found a 1oz silver bar buried about 4 inches down at a local school but ever since I have been pulling clad, Anyone out there with advice or tips on how to use this machine efficently? I'm hunting inland in Connecticut...Any and all advice is welcome..Thanks Chris

I would say the fact that you're pulling clad means you have it working just fine.

Not a whole lot to the Ace series of detectors as far as setting up really. Set your sensitivity as high as the area will allow, disc out the stuff you don't wanna dig & swing the coil at the factory recommended speed.

If you're not finding what you think you should be finding, it prolly just aint there!

I got an Ace350 in August.Ive got about 100hrs on it now and the more i use it the more i learn about it. I don't have a lot of time right now but I would like to give a quick review. If you get any kind of bell sound pinpoint and dig.I was impressed finding coins with junk. However it does not get the depth I was hoping for and will probably upgrade next year.I have found over 500 cents 50 quarters 100 dimes,I dont have the totals with me right now.Got 9 silver dimes 1silver ring 4indians some other cool stuff and a lot of junk but that cant be helped. You need to be in an old enough place to find silver and older coins.I avoid the local school yards but love them football fields.Goodluck to ya

I also have a Garret pinpointer which I feel is a must.Always check your hole.I once found a barber dime and a1900 indian penny under a memorial
