Looking for a place to pan near Raleigh

Hey I'm new to Raleigh nc. Moved here from the mountains of nc where places are plientyfull. I'm trying to find a location near by and am not having any luck. If anyone knows of some local streams nearby that are accessible it would be greatly appreciated.

Try going to state division of geological and geophysical survey. Also, the department of natural resources public information center could tell where, if any claims where made. Good luck
