Hi. I am currently using a Garrett Ace 250. I have had it since August 2009, and am getting a little bored with it. I want a more advanced detector, but am on a limited budget, and the E-Trac or Explorer SE are simply too expensive. An experienced detectorist in my area recommended trying to find a good/excellent condition used Explorer II . Apparently, the Explorer series (and, of course, the E-Trac) have very good depth and separation, something lacking on my Ace. If anyone has one for sale/available soon, please e-mail or pm me. I am looking now, but will have the $$ to purchase once I get my income tax refund (probably late January to early March time frame). Thanks.
