Yes, specifically http://earthexplorer.usgs.gov where they have great early aerial photos.

How do you zoom in on these?
werleibr said:try looking for national map viewer. They have historical maps... they are not of cities but the 30X30, 7.5x7.5 that sort of thing. You can download them all and they are spatialy referenced so you can add to your own GIS system.
