Hi all,
After a big rain swept through yesterday, we were greeted with a beautiful sunrise here in St. Louis, followed by a cloudless, cobalt blue sky and a nice breeze throughout the day..I went out this morning to add to my coin count and didn't anticipate finding anything of any significance. I've been checking the schools regularly, hitting the ones close by about every 2-3 weeks. On the way home I swung by the school up the street, and as soon as I got to the playground I went to the very first swing..right underneath it buried in the wood chips was ring #30 for the year, a .925 silver
I counted all the rings I've found since I started this crazy hobby and I counted 199...hopefully I can dig up one more before the year ends! 153 of them were dug within the last 3 years I also dug a few bucks worth of clad today, including one of the newer quarters (American Samoa), one of five U.S. Territories quarters issued this year. My coin count is 3,757 coins so far this year (including 32 silvers) so life is good
Hope you all find a little treasure this week.
