Lookin' for Lead in all the Wrong Places....but found Silver with New Video
I have been very limited in my search time recently due to the birth of a new baby - I managed to get out for about an hour this past weekend and decided to hit a piece of property that some lead splashes had been found on. The property owner seemed to think that the lead was from the Civil War, I thought that there was a possibility of that as well due to the fact that a spring is just behind the house.
I gained permission form the property owner and began my search and immediately found a couple of chunks of lead - just a little further down I found a very crude lead cast ring. That was all for lead and the hopes of CW relics on this day.
The property owner came out to check and see what I was finding and I naturally asked when the house was built on the property - she said that she was not sure but the addition to the front was built in the '30's - this got my blood pumping and I immediately hit the house site and started finding wheats and the silver pictured below - check out my video below and let me know what you think!!!
