View attachment 1344036Got out early, about 1 hour before low tide. Hit yet another part of beach. :icon_scratch:2-3 pull-tab and bottle tops

later this little booger found my coil. One scoop, twas mine, must have fluttered in last night,,,,i guess ?

Now the question, what is it? Looks kind of old to me, don't hardly see anyone wearing this style much:icon_scratch:

If one pic is blown up you can see 925 and I am wondering,,,,do you think this may be a old Opal ring ?

Hey, I really don't know, and might be hard for you to even tell. Just guesstimations please :dontknow:

I have heard the word 'JUNK' before,,,,no biggie.......

Thanks for look'in !!View attachment 1344034View attachment 1344035

Cool, have learned something new.....I did find one not so long ago that was marked Sterling Silver, and was a older style kids ring. Have to remember in future.

Thanks Casper,,,learning something all the time:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Will add,,,this is better than going the jewerlers,,,,had took a heavy White Gold ring in for checking,,he checked with I think acid test,,,,and came

back to me and said NOT GOLD !! Took back home disappointed.. later I had a piece to bring to another Jewler, and brought this one back for

him to look at. He buffed out,,,and tested and it was White Gold for sure. Back then the prices were up around 18 somewhere and I sold it.

Moral of story---hmmmmm don't know why first guy said no good to begin with,,,,could it have been the ring had a yellow haze to to it and the

acid was not acting right? :icon_scratch:

True Story..........

Not trying to make a living at it,,,,just a great hobby that I thoroughly ENJOY to the MAX !!!!

That's a nice looking ring there RV. Congrats

Hi RV; Yours is called a Mood Ring. They were popular in the 60's & 70's. The stone turned colors supposedly telling you what "MOOD" you were in. Red was Anger, Blue was Fine, Green was depressed XYZ. They never really worked but everyone liked them. I even had one. So know you know ok. Fun Find. PEACE:RONB
