Longest artifact and also a creek find

Well with near two feet of snow on the ground and the temperature hovering near zero
..Time to reminisce...This piece hear was found in the stream that crosses my site...It always amazes me when these pop up after all the years ive walked this particular stream.The installing of a fish lad der changed the water current.This cleared off dirt and sand deposits to leave all stone.. Anyways this thing is about 15" long and was probably an adze or gouge in the making...mjm
