Fred Flintstone's front tire ??

That would be a pretty small car ;)

Apparently, his neighbor found a similar one not long ago in an area where they were looking for arrowheads. Just wondering if it is some sort of Indian artifact and if so, what it could be.

Could be an artifact, I've seen modern ones that look like that. Though they are much larger and smoother for 1800s grain mills. Could be hand held and very old I suppose. Nice find either way!

Most likely hole was caused by root long ago, pictures are very poor quality but nothing says artifact in pictures.

I was thinking someone broke their stone rolling pin and threw it away

Maybe Ma broke it over Pa's head.

Could it be a fishing net weight? If not I go with the Flintstone toy car

I was thinking arrow/shaft straightner? Try it over on the North American Indian forum.

Pictures are very poor, doesn't look like banner stone, still think it is natural.

I'm not sure what you have and I don't believe it's a man made artifact either, but I could be wrong? I do know a stalactite can form with a bore hole in the center.
