I got out today with GoldFever and DanDan. We got an early start and decided to hit the kitty farm. I did not find much nor did DanDan however GoldFever found a sweet Silver & 18K ring. It is stamped Bixby so I assume it is a QVC ring. Next we went to another house down the road. This place is HUGE. Well DanDan turned on the charm and got us in! Again DanDan and I were off to a slow start. It did not help much when GoldFever comes behind me and pulls a 1945 Walker about 3 feet from where I decided to change direction. Grrr That combined with his handful of IH's...The lil son-of-a-monkey. Well I was lucky enough to pull a 1884 IH...DanDan pulled a 1887 IH and we called it lunch. Well after listening to GoldFever gloat all through the ride to and from the pizza joint...I was hell bent on finding some silver. Well it did not take long. The second hole I dug was a 1854 O seated dime!!! I was very pleased. Well about 30 feet further up I hit another decent signal. After digging I realized I was a little off on my pinpointing. I widened my hole and On the side I noticed a large silver coin...I almost screamed..(I may have..Not sure)...Well I was hoping for a silver dollar however my XLT lied to me...It was ONLY a 1941 Walker....HEHE....That pretty much ended my day as far as good coins...I did manage about 20 Wheats and a few dozen clads....Also 3 NICE buttons...2 Suspender clasps....And a grape leaf? I will post pics of the relics tomorrow. I have to rest my fingers are about RAW.

Here are some pix. Sorry they stink...My new camera is once again in my wifey-poo's purse. :(

I'd definitely call that one succesful day of hunting.
Great silver coins and an 18k ring. QVC or not...still awesome

Excellent job! The silver coin gods still have not shined on me. Perhaps I just haven't found the right location yet. Keep up the good work!

Congrats big time on those great finds... That New Orleans mint seated dime I'm sure was a shocking dig :o.... Hopefully I'll find one, one of these days ;)
