I think I better start digging more iron signals. I went to one of my regular spots and dug a iffy signal and found the lock. A view feet away I got the same signal and found what I believe to be grapeshot. Ranger,

That certainly looks like canister shot to me. The other day while Truth and I were hunting a permission an I dug what I thought was a canister (grape) shot, but once I cleaned it up a bit I noticed it was lead.

One side was flat as if it hit something and when I got home and cleaned it some more I confirmed it was lead. It weighed 5.5 ounces, my metrics a little rough, but I think it converts to 155 grams +/-.

I've never dug lead grape before, so I'm kinda dumbfounded. Since we've been working this site pretty regular, between the two (2) of us, we've dug several pounds of lead, all varying in sizes from large to small.

All I can figure if it's not Grape, which I doubt, but who knows and with the flat side, it may have been used as a paper weight or commodity / sales weight. I'll post a pic of it later on... Congrats on the cannister "grape" shot, that's always been a favorite find of mine!!! thanks for sharing...

I’m wondering if I should even do Electrolysis on the lock or just soak in WD-40 and try to find the key?ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1537215457.760459.jpg
