Lock n' Rocks

Today's jaunt netted a few surface finds, one being a beautiful Archaic point and the other a broken point.

From the subterranean realm I gleaned an 1890's era smokehouse padlock, marked "S & Co." (probably Sargent and Company) It is enjoying a relaxing baking soda electrolysis bath at this time. Also found another "Heavy Rubber" marked slicker or boot buckle.

Happy hunting to all and thanks for looking! Sub 8-)

It's funny, but after all these years of watching the ground and I haven't found a point yet! :dontknow:

Nice finds!

WHADIFIND, you just keep your eyes to the ground, especially after a hard rain. Those points tend to show up on high banks next to ancient creeks. That is exactly where this one and most of the others I have found were located. Best of luck! Sub 8-)
