MY FIRST FIRST FIND

I found this lock in Charleston in my Aunts backyard. I have not been able to find the same symbol online yet so if anyone has any ideas on this one I would appreciate it.

I have no idea. But you're in charleston? I live in ravenel. Good find though!

My brother and majority of my family live there. Also more in Columbia. Trying to hit some yards there.

Hello fever,

Welcome to TNet & thanks for showing us your lock. It's a Slaymaker, I believe. They made many different styles, and used many logos over the years.

Huh. Funny. I literally just through at the lock on that second picture. It was on my dresser that my dad had when he was a child and lost the key. So 1970s.

Cool thanks I thought it may be a Slaymaker but was unable to find this design. I saw somewhere that they stopped producing in the 30s but I could be wrong of course.

Yes slaymaker. I'm in spartanburg. I usually detect in charleston and edisto
