A buddy of mine told me about a street tear up that was going on just south of town.
I got him into MD'ing a few years ago but he doesn't get out much because of his working on weekends.
This weekend he had off so we decided to head out and do some MD'ing.
Sat I got a few wheat pennies and a 1919S merc. ( scratched it OUCH )
Also got a 2004 Dog tag
I made it over there today again for a few hours since my buddy had to go sell a house.
Finds for the day were.
18 wheat pennies 1910-1955 most are from 1910 thru 1928 with a few from the 50's
1 no date SLQ
1 1923 merc ( another scratched merc...ouch...hard soil sucks
1 1905 "V" nickel
1 1906 IH
A cool Park Ridge Country Club badge from 1941 ( # 161 ) which happens to be 1 of my 2 favorite numbers, the other is 116.
Lots of junk and a bunch of clad...
Thanks for looking....
