Spent about 2 hours at the park avoiding the tot sand areas. Found all clad except for one item, I think it is a coin but not sure.

The large "coin" has a woman who I think is named Victoria facing to the left with what looks like "vict" written on it. To the right it says "Britt:Reg:FD. On the back is a seated lady with just 1863 on it. Any Ideas?

Thank you very much, kinda exciting find considering the oldest coin I have ever found was a 1943 penny.

Nice finds!

Sweet find on the Vicky penny !!! As you likely know by now this coin depicts Her Royal Majesty Queen Victoria monarch of the British
Commonwealth from 1837 - 1901 . Nice .

Nice find, part of the fun in this hobby is wondering how the heck that got there

mr helton, nice finds and great digging video.

Congrats on finding a 'British Vickie' Half Penny Papa! :occasion14:
I love finding 'holed' Vickies, this was indicative of a persons loyalty to the Queen.

Here's a Nova Scotia 'One Cent' I dug last spring,
Dave

That's a very interesting date for Nebraska, and with it being worn by someone peeks my interest even more. Very cool find, congrats!

Very surprising for me too considering Nebraska is much younger state than the eastern and southern states.

Might have been a necklace and not just a holed coin that was worn for years or handed down before it was lost like a good luck piece. I found a 1871 half dime at a 1960's baseball field that shows no former site at all. Crazy where things will end up.
