Loan paid in full!!!!!

long story short, i loaned a good Friend some $$$. and was paid in full.. with a 1928 $100.00 that he found a few years ago in a attic.. was happy to get this old bill.. ( since he would not sell it to me in the past ) not sure what it is worth, thinking maybe $200.00 but I'm happy to add this $100 to the collection.. and if the rain stays off i will be hitting a load of finds this week best of digs to all!!!! MR TUFF

That's a gold certificate and it's worth around $600 to $800ish. I pulled one out of circulation a few years ago and gave it to a friend of mine that collects paper money. (well I sold it for face value)

Anyways, I'm not an expert on paper money, but that crease in it will lower the value a bit. But it seems to be in good condition. Very nice addition to any collection.

Nice bill. That's an FRN not a Gold Certificate. It would say Gold Certificate across the top and have a gold seal, not a green one. It still carries a small premium.
