Lloyd went on his final hunt Nov. 22.
He had only started hunting in earnest several years ago, but was a prolific hunter and had his name in the Club News section of W & ET on several occasions as a member of the MHRS club based in Chicago.
I hunted with Lloyd a few times when he first started out and was witness to several of his "firsts" and knew he was truly a TH'er from his reaction each time. You couldn't help but notice his unique gait either when he went to open competition hunts either. Long strided and quick swinging he always managed to score well in competition.
If you knew him or ever heard of his $28k ring find, and subsequent attempt at return you were in for a laugh.
He will be missed.
