Found this one about 40 feet off shore in Naples Florida. Kinda funny button. I’ve see the one for sale on eBay. Anyone have a clue as to its history and age? Jgas

Cool find but absolutely not a livery button.

I would agree with this listing which says it's a c.1920 lapel stud, given as a crackerjack prize. I have seen others on the same kind of theme.

Red Coat thank you for the info. Interesting find from the waters. 100 years old or so and no one has detecting it at the beach. Tells ya that the good stuff can still turn up out in the water with the shifting sands. Consider this one solved. Thanks Jgas
