The owner of the plane is developer James Alan Kent, who was one of the 21 people on board when the plane crashed before taking off to Boston. Kent's wife said the group was headed to the American League Championship Series between the Red Sox and Astros.
Everyone got out alive.

According to the FAA, the plane never left the ground. The plane was getting ready to take off from Houston Executive Airport in Waller County when it rolled through a fence and into a field where it caught fire near FM 2855, north of Morton Road.
