I found this IH close to the Merc at a local school. The IH was about 3-4 inches down and is an exact replica of a real IH. It has a scratch across the first number of the date but I am sure it is supposed to read 1903. Anybody else come across any coins this size?

I have seen memorial pennies like that, back in the early to mid 1980's. I think they were part of a charm bracelet or something? Maybe some play money from a game or something?

cool conversation piece! nice find!

Nice silver, I have seen small coins like that, but most have COPY stamped somewhere on it. Congrats!

I had a small ih just like that, the date on it is also 1903, I don't remember where I got it though.

My daughter had an "American Girl" doll who was to represent the early 1900's and with her accoutrements was a small Indian head with the same date........fred

Another sign of our shrinking economy????????

The IH would look good in the top of a ring.

Mercs always a good find!

.........HH

Nice merc, would be nice to have a small ih copy.

I have seen this before.

Someone left it in their Jeans on a hot rinse.

I'm with Fred, I saw the IH from my daughter's American Girl doll.
